Complaint charges for items it never sends, poor customer service, total fraud!!! - columbia hat, scarf, and gloves
Please avoid gander mountain . I placed and order only to receive and empty box with plastic. I notified them ASAP of the missing items and receiving an empty box. The customer service representative said that a replacement order would be sent immediately and a credit for the item no longer available would be issued. I recieved a call from gander mountain 5 hours later that day telling me rudely, unprofessionally that they will not be issuing a credit or sending me the items. They could careless. I called the bank that issues the mastercard I paid for the order with. They called gandermountain with me on the line to resolve the dispute. The customer service representative stated that the employee who said a replacement was being sent is no longer employed and that a supervisor instructed that nothing be done regarding my order. They could careless about me not receiving my items and getting a empty box. My bank is starting a chargeback to dispute this transaction. Thank god our purchases are protected when made with a mastercard. This is a company who routinely scams thier customers. Proof is among all of the negative complaints. I will never purchasedfrom this company and will make sure everyone knows thier terrible, scamming tantics.
