    I opened a Gander Mountain MasterCard a little over a year ago with plans to buy a gun safe or a GPS. After earning over $200 I shopped for a safe. I found a great price on one at a local store that Gander Mountain did not carry so bought it and planned on getting the GPS. They had a limited selection but I liked the Garmin Oregon 600T they had clearance priced at $399.94.   • Gander Mountain Lost My Business...

    The people in the warehouse must be lackadaisical millenials who don't care about their customers. I placed an urgent order and paid extra for overnight shipping to have the package delivered before the weekend. It took them over 24 hours to process the order and get it on FedEx.   • False Advertising, Poor Customer Service

    Gander Mountain advertises guns, ammo and Liberty safes in the flyers. When you go to the store, they are either out of stock, or "they never got any" of the items advertised. They will not issue rain checks, nor will they offer a discount on a comparable item. The firearms counter is always understaffed. Customers frequently wait 1 hour (plus) to talk to as associate.     purchased a rugar 10/22 from the charleton wv store, the man pulled the gun off the shelf went to the rear and returned with a box, put the gun in and after all the paper work i drove home. i was wrapping the box last night its a christmas gift and i opened it to take a look at the gun, i noticed the scope mounts and mounting hardware were all missing from the box the scope had been opened and some othe cut outs in box were empty. i paid for a new in the box gun and have received whats looks like a demo item that has been picked through...this is was my first time in a gander mount store...     I placed 4 orders for 22 cal. ammo for Christmas presents that Gander Mountain cancelled without notice to me in any way shape or form. Thankfully, today, 10 days before Christmas I check to track the shipment and ultimately find out the orders have been cancelled.   • False Charges

    Gander Mountain stole my money. The manager and cashiers were incapable of providing a receipt at checkout. After I refused to take the products if they could not provide a receipt, they then claimed that they could not credit the money back to my card because I did not have a receipt and they could not find the transaction. I filed a credit dispute with my bank and the manager promised that they would verify that the charges were false and that would be the end of it.   • seperate charges for two items

    The product was decent but they charge you two different times. Both of my products were shipped separately which i had no notification of. Then I got charged both times for the shipping. If I would have known it I wouldn't have ordered, I would have canceled. A customer shouldn't pay two separate times.     I ordered a camo buck hoodie for a Christmas present online. I received a confirmation e-mail and it stated that this one particular item is on back order and will ship on 12/17/13. Today, 12/23/13 I have not received my item. I called Gander Mountain and was told that the manufacturer had discontinued the item.     I am a disappointed Gander Mtn Customer. I opened my December 19 Newspaper at 6:00 A.M. and immediately read the Garder Mtn Gifts for the Holidays sale bill. I noted that Federal Champion Value Pack 22 Ammo was on sale for $22.99 with free shipping. I ran to my computer and attemped to place an order for 10 boxes only to find that you were out of stock.     I was asked by Gander Mountain to display some of My award winning taxidermy at the twinsburg Ohio store. THEY DISAPPEARED AND NO ONE KNOW WHERE THEY WENT. Ive talked to the manager Tom Hagan and he told me HQ would handle it I have been in the store 12 times and called several more and I had 1 return call.   • Mislead sale an Costumer service

    We bought two savage target riffles. Both in two days. First sale went well so we decided to buy another of the same riffle next day. I made it clear we wanted the mag so my wife and I could compete with the exact same riffle. We are both ignorant when it comes to buying riffles.     I received a noticed from GanderMtn that indicated take an additional 20% off clearance items. There was a link, I clicked it, numerous items came up, so I clicked on the CLEARANCE button, search for HONDA and found their eu1000i AND eu2000I generators on sale. Great, take my 20% and I will have Christmas early! I placed the generator in the cart, added the 20% off promo code, not working, no discount.     I worked the gun counter and saw how bad the store would screw the customer. Managment would push fire arm protection plans not telling the customer the store did not have any way to srevice the weapon and would have to be sent out for cleaning or repair.   • Gander Mountain: Poor customer service

    This is the Gander Mountain in Onalaska, WI. Was in the tech department for an hour and nobody came to assist me. Sunglasses are in a locked case so you can't purchase them without help. There was very few people in the store so no excuse not to help the people there. Needless to say I walked out and won't bother going back after reading the other reviews.     New Hartford, NY: I was walking around the store for 45 minutes and there was no customer assistance - at all. Most employees were behind the gun counter. I was then looking for sun glasses that were in a locked cab in the Tech Center. I went up front, to the one cashier, waited in line and then asked if I could get assistance at Tech Center.     Advertised a gun sale in mail out Feb 5 through 27, 2013. Did not have the gun I wanted in stock and it wasnt in the computer as sold out. Said they would have it on the 14th and on the 15th was told it would be next week. The next week they say it would be March or April but at a higher price.     I was able to check out and buy products without problem, but when it came to an exchanges I became a second class citizen. A simple exchange took me 20 minutes. While 4 cashiers stood idle, I waited for one of 2 registers taking complicated returns. The line behind me grew longer and longer while I stood waiting with my simple exchange.     Gander mountain has good quality products, but quality of product is pale in comparison to poor customer service. The products can be obtained elsewhere, usually with acceptable customer service.     Gander Mountain in Greenwood, Indiana practices deceptive sales advertising. Last Thursday, 26 Oct 2012, I bought two sweaters off what appeared to be a sale rack.     A really nice hunting pack was bought for me by my mother-in-law for my birthday from Gander Mountain. The strap on it broke as I was hiking in the mountains on a hunting trip.
